Self Awareness using MBTI
This workshop is about understanding how and why we choose to behave and react in certain ways and how we can recognize the patterns of behaviours of others. The workshop explores how we prefer to gather information, problem solve and make decisions. Carl Jung indentified that what appears to be random behaviour can be explained through understanding a few basic and observable patterns which provides the key to understanding ourselves and others better. Through introducing a world renown psychometric tool (Myers Briggs Type Indicator – MBTI) participants can take the first steps to really understanding what makes us behave the way they do and how to predict the likely behaviour of others.
The workshop examines five key areas:
· Exploring behavioural preferences
· The four key behavioural dimensions
· The behavioural preference framework
· Finding your ‘best fit’
· Developing your understanding of others
What you will get from this workshop:
By the end of this workshop you will understand more about your own behavioural choices and why you find some people easier or harder to get along with. These insights will assist you in making better decisions when you want to communicate or build relationships with others and you will recognize your default behaviours when you are under pressure. The workshop provides an excellent starting point for those wishing to explore personal development further.
